Family and friends remember Patricia O’Kelly as a kind-hearted, caring and deeply loved woman whose warmth was felt by everyone fortunate enough to know her. Late of Newtown Hill, Tramore and formerly of Grange Park, Waterford City, Patricia was Seán’s beloved wife, Annette’s much-loved Mam, and son-in-law Brian, a cherished sister, aunt, neighbour and friend. Those who knew her spoke of a woman “full of care and love for all,” a wonderful neighbour, and someone who was “always smiling no matter what.” Her gentle nature and genuine kindness left a lasting impression on the people around her, and the messages shared since her passing show just how dearly she was loved.

Patricia will also be remembered for the courage she showed through her health difficulties. Friends spoke of her as gentle and kind, but also brave, facing illness with strength while still holding on to the warmth and smile people knew so well. One tribute described her as “the most gentle, kind and caring person you could ever meet,” while another spoke of the deep love Annette had for her Mam and the kind of woman Patricia must have been to inspire that devotion. May Seán, Annette, Brian, Mary, Gene, Jacqueline and all who loved Patricia find comfort in the memories of her smile, her kindness, her courage and the love she gave so freely throughout her life.
