Your card is saved at sign-up: with an invite, a €1 check is released straight away and nothing is charged until the free months end. Funeral directors pay €125/month or €1,200/year for unlimited walls.

How does support work?

Support on RIP Ireland comes in many forms:

  • Friends and family can light candles, share photos, and leave messages.
  • They can also send gifts through your funeral director’s trusted local suppliers. RIP Ireland also has trusted national suppliers if your local funeral director has not partnered with us yet.
  • Practical support for funeral costs, headstones, or benches is paid securely to your chosen funeral director.
  • Families can also choose to support a charity instead.

Support for funeral or memorial costs is only ever paid directly to funeral directors; this protects families from online fraud. You choose whether contributions go towards funeral costs, a headstone or bench supplier, or a charity. It’s your space to remember, in your way, and it lasts forever.

What if my funeral director or supplier is not registered?

No problem. You can still create a Memorial Wall yourself (the price is under “Is it really free?”). If your funeral director isn’t registered yet, we’ll reach out to invite them so you can still receive secure support directly. Financial support is only ever paid to verified funeral directors or trusted suppliers, so your support is always safe. If your preferred supplier isn’t listed, you can suggest them, and we’ll help get them set up.
