Family and friends remember Noel Walsh as a much-loved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, neighbour and friend whose gentle presence left a lasting mark on all who knew him. Late of Moonloun, Tramore and formerly of Butlerstown, Noel was at the heart of a family who loved him deeply, and his passing is felt with great sadness by Ellen, Dermot, Yvonne, David, Brendan, Melissa and all those whose lives were shaped by his kindness. In the words shared by those who knew him, Noel was “a lovely man,” “such a lovely man,” and someone who “always had a smile for when you meet him,” simple words that say so much about the warmth, ease and goodness he carried through life.
People remember Noel not only with sadness, but with gratitude for the memories he leaves behind. One neighbour recalled, “I have fond memories of him when I lived in Moonloun,” while another family remembered him with “fond memories of a lovely gentleman.” Those words reflect the quiet legacy Noel leaves behind, a life rooted in family, community, decency and love. May Ellen and all the Walsh family find comfort in the many lovely memories now being shared, and in knowing that Noel will be remembered with great fondness by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Late of Moonloun, Tramore, Co. Waterford. Formerly of Butlerstown, Co. Waterford. Noel passed peacefully with his loving family by his side on Saturday the 20th of June 2026. RIP.
