Portrait as commander.
Michael Collins was born in 1890 in Sam’s Cross, Clonakilty, County Cork. He grew up on a farm, moved to London as a teenager, and returned to Ireland to fight for independence. He took part in the Easter Rising of 1916 and was interned in Wales. On his release, he rose quickly: organising intelligence, directing guerrilla campaigns, and leading Ireland’s fight for freedom. Collins helped negotiate the Anglo-Irish Treaty in 1921 and became Chairman of the Provisional Government in 1922. Just months later, at the age of 31, he was killed at Béal na Bláth during the Irish Civil War.Why He Is Remembered Director of Intelligence for the IRA. Minister for Finance in the First Dáil. Architect of the guerrilla war (1919–1921). Treaty negotiator in London, 1921. Commander-in-Chief of the National Army. Died in service of his country.Final Words Michael Collins’ life was short, but it changed Ireland forever. He was bold, brilliant, stubborn, and deeply human. His story reminds us how much can be achieved in just 31 years.(RIP Ireland Example of a Memorial wall – Please add your own style)Warmy, RIP Ireland Team

Thank you for including us in this heartfelt and beautiful gathering. It was incredibly moving to hear the many loving and cherished memories shared by your family and friends. Although we did not have the pleasure of meeting Bianca Rosa, we can see through the stories and tributes just how special she was. Bianca Rosa’s spirit and the profound impact she had on those around her were evident in every word spoken. The warmth, love, and admiration that everyone expressed painted a vivid picture of a life well-lived and a heart that touched so many...
