John passed peacefully surrounded by his loving family

Sunday the 12th of October 2025

RIP.

Predeceased by his beloved baby daughter Grace,  his brother Michael and his sister-in-law Mary

John will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his heartbroken wife Margaret, his daughters Denise and Clair; his adoring grandchildren Noah and Aidan; his brothers Donal and Kieran; his sisters Grace Jeffers and Geraldine and  her partner Jo; his brothers-in-law Paddy, Pat and Barry:  and his sisters-in-law Catherine, Ann, Evelyn and Veronica and his son-in-law Jordan. John will be fondly remembered by all his nieces and nephews, extended family, relatives, wonderful neighbours, and many friends.

The Collins family would like to thank with great appreciation all the staff in University Hospital Waterford for the exceptional care John received throughout his time there.

May his gentle soul rest peacefully

John’s reposal will take place in Falconers Funeral Home, Riverstown, Tramore X91TW21 on Tuesday the 14th of October from 6pm until 8pm.

All are welcome.

John’s Requiem Mass will take place on Wednesday the 15th of October at 10am in The Church of the Holy Cross, Tramore, after which John will be laid to rest in the adjoining Cemetery. Anyone wishing to attend John’s Mass online can do so by using the link below.

John’s Funeral Cortege will pass his home in Sweetbriar Park at approximately 9:35 am and will then walk from Lodges Corner/Tramore Credit Union to arrive for his Requiem Mass.
