Family and friends remember Eamon Piercy as a devoted father, neighbour and friend whose life was marked by loyalty, kindness and a deep sense of belonging to the communities he called home. Late of Seaview Park in Tramore and formerly of Portnahully in Kilkenny and Bray in Wicklow, Eamon carried with him the friendships and memories of each chapter of his life. Predeceased by his beloved wife Rina, his sister Anne and his parents Agnes and Edward, he remained the centre of his family, deeply loved by his children Olive, Mary and Colm. Those who knew Eamon speak of a man whose character was steady and sincere, someone who valued companionship, neighbourly kindness and the quiet satisfaction of time spent among friends.
The tributes shared in his memory reflect the respect and affection he earned throughout his life. “A very good neighbour in Portnahully.” Another message described him simply as “a wonderful friend, neighbour and golfing buddy.” One tribute remembered him as “a man of great integrity,” while another shared the sentiment of many: “He was as nice a person as you could meet.” And in the words of someone who knew him well, “a gentleman and neighbour.” Through these memories Eamon will be remembered not only within his family, but among the neighbours, friends and golfing companions whose lives were brighter for having known him.
Late of Seaview Park, Tramore, Co. Waterford. Formerly of Portnahully, Co. Kilkenny and Bray, Co. Wicklow. Eamon passed peacefully on Friday the 6th of March 2026. RIP.
