Family and friends remember Clare Foley as a gentle, kind and deeply loving person whose presence brought warmth and comfort to those around her. Late of Kilbarry in Waterford and formerly of Carrickbeg in Tipperary, Clare’s passing has left her family heartbroken, especially her devoted parents Theresa and Seamus, her sister Gráinne, her partner Ian, and her two beloved sons Theo and Hunter who were so often described as her whole world. Many spoke of her as “a beautiful soul” and “a soft, caring person” who had a natural way of putting people at ease, always ready for a chat, always present for those who needed her. Her love for her boys was at the centre of everything, a bond that was felt deeply by all who knew her and one that will continue to guide them in the years ahead.
There is a deep sadness in the words shared about Clare, a sense of a life gone too soon and a loss that is hard to comprehend. She is remembered as “a lovely girl,” “a gentle soul,” and someone whose kindness and quiet strength left a lasting mark on so many lives. Friends recall her warmth, her thoughtful nature and the way she made people feel valued and understood, while those closest to her speak of a love that will never fade. Clare will never be forgotten, not just in memory but in the lives she shaped, in the love she gave so freely and in the two boys who carry her forward every day.
Late of Kilbarry, Waterford City. Formerly of Carrick-Beg, Co. Tipperary. Clare passed tragically and unexpectedly. RIP April 2026.
