Family and friends remember Bridie Power as a warm, loving and one-of-a-kind woman whose life was centred on family, kindness and the welcome she gave to others. Late of Roselawn, Tramore and formerly of Ballyduff, Co. Wexford, Bridie was deeply loved by Mossy, her children Alan, Sandra, Ann-Marie, Maurice and Emma-Jane, and by the grandchildren who brought such joy to her life. The messages shared after her passing speak of a woman who was “beautiful inside out,” “a truly lovely person and always in good humour,” and a mother who was simply “one of a kind.” These words reflect the warmth, humour and goodness that made Bridie so special to all who knew her.
Bridie is remembered as a devoted wife, mother, granny, sister, neighbour and friend, someone who lived for her family and made others feel welcome in her company. One tribute remembered how she welcomed people into her extended family “with open arms and kindness,” while another captured her spirit beautifully: “You were some woman for one woman.” She was remembered for her smile, her style, her chats, her love of family and the comfort of a home where there was always time for a cuppa. Bridie leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter and familiar kindness. May Mossy, Alan, Sandra, Ann-Marie, Maurice, Emma-Jane and all the Power and Cleary families find comfort in the many cherished memories they shared, and in knowing how deeply Bridie was loved and how fondly she will be remembered.
Late of Roselawn, Tramore, Co. Waterford. Formerly of Ballyduff, Co. Wexford. Bridie passed peacefully with her loving family by her side on Monday the 29th of June 2026. RIP.
