Ann (Phil) Walsh
Family and friends remember Ann “Phil” Walsh as a warm, fun-loving and generous woman whose sense of humour and zest for life left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her. Late of The Gap, Riverstown, Tramore, Phil was a much-loved sister to Eileen and will be forever missed by Miriam, Dee, Ann-Marie, Ava and Isabel. Many of the memories shared since her passing come from the years she spent working in L&N and SuperValu, where former colleagues remember great laughs, happy times and the pleasure of working alongside her. Friends spoke of a woman who was thoughtful, kind and always good company, while others simply remembered how enjoyable it was to stop and have a chat with her.
Phil’s kindness also came through in the smaller, more personal memories. One tribute recalled lunches around the kitchen table in Queen Street, where Phil had her own familiar place, and described her as “like a fairy godmother” and “an absolute gem.” Others remembered her as fun, thoughtful and generous, a true friend and a much-loved neighbour in Riverstown. Her humour, her love of life and the warmth she brought to ordinary moments were mentioned again and again by those who knew her best. May Eileen, Miriam, Dee, Ann-Marie, Ava, Isabel and all of Phil’s family and friends find comfort in those memories and in the laughter, friendship and kindness she shared so freely throughout her life.
Late of The Gap, Riverstown , Tramore, Co. Waterford. Formerly of Super-Valu, Tramore, Co. Waterford. Phil passed peacefully with her loving family by her side on Monday the 2nd of November 2026. RIP.
