Catherine passed peacefully surrounded by her loving family,
Tuesday the 15th of July 2025
RIP.
Predeceased by her beloved parents Richard and Nellie Cullen.
Catherine will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband Jack; her daughters Mary, Ruth, and Kate; her adoring grandchildren Grace, Mary-Kate, Jack, Sadie, Eliza, Billy and Giles; her brother Maurice; and her sons-in-law Kieran, Martin, and Michael. Catherine will be fondly remembered by all her nieces and nephews, extended family, relatives, wonderful neighbours, and many friends.
The O’Byrne family would like to thank with great appreciation Dr. Mike Henry in Cork University Hospital and Prof. Mark Rogan and all the medical staff in University Hospital Waterford for the exceptional support and care Catherine received throughout her illness. In addition, the O’Byrne family would like to kindly thank all the staff of Delany’s Pharmacy, Johnstown, Waterford City.

Catherine’s Reposal will take place at the Family Home, in Grange Heights X91DNY6 on Thursday the 17th of July from 5pm until 7pm sharp.
House Strictly Private Outside of Reposal Time Please.
Catherine’s Requiem Mass will take place on Friday the 18th of July at 10:30am in St. Joseph and St. Benildus Church, Newtown, Waterford City, after which Catherine will be laid to rest in St. Declan’s Cemetery, Tramore, Co.
