Martin (Marty) O’Rourke

Formerly of Moonvoy, Tramore, Co. Waterford.

Marty passed peacefully at University Hospital Waterford surrounded by his loving family.

Saturday the 22nd of February 2025 RIP.

Marty is predeceased by his beloved parents and his brother Tommy and his sister Anne

Marty will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his heartbroken wife Mags, his brothers Sean, Seamus and Pat; his sister Catherine, his sisters-in-law and his brother-in-law. Marty will be forever remembered by his nieces and nephews, relatives, extended family, wonderful neighbours and his many many friends.

The O’Rourke family would like to thank with great appreciation all the staff in the Oak Ward University Hospital Waterford and Dr. Hannah Greene and Catherine Hutchinson and all the staff In Family Practice, Tramore for the exceptional care and kindness Marty received throughout his illness.

Marty will be reposing at Falconers Funeral Home, Riverstown, Tramore, Co. Waterford on Tuesday the 25th of February from 5pm to 7pm.

Marty’s Requiem Mass will take place on Wednesday the 26th of February, at 10am at The Church of The Holy Cross, Tramore, Co. Waterford. Immediately after Marty will be laid to rest in St Declan’s Cemetery, Tramore. Anyone wishing to take part in Marty’s Requiem Mass remotely please follow the link below.

Marty’s funeral cortège will walk from Lodges Corner, Tramore Credit Union, at approximately 9:40 am to arrive for his Requiem Mass.
