Family and friends remember Gerry O’Regan as a true gentleman whose warmth, humour, and musical talent lit up every room in Dunmore East. An accomplished musician and entertainer, he carried a tune as effortlessly as he carried a smile, sharing laughter and song with neighbours, friends, and family alike. Gerry’s kindness and gentle spirit endeared him to all, and his devotion to his children and grandchildren was matched only by his love of a good joke and the joy he found in every melody.
Beyond his performances, Gerry was a pillar of the community, always ready with a helping hand, a word of comfort, or a story to brighten your day. His legacy lives on in the lives he touched, the music he shared, and the countless memories made in his company. As donations in his honour go to the Dogs Trust, let us remember Gerry’s generous heart and his belief in caring for those who cannot speak for themselves. May his gentle soul rest in peace.
